Front Floor Mat Mounting Pegs?

Can anyone confirm if the XC40 should have 2 pegs mounded into the carpet that the floor mats snap into to keep them in place?

I have a feeling that our brand new MY22 XC40 has come out of the factory with this pegs missing.

Just taken delivery of a new B4 AWD XC40 and can confirm that there should be pegs in the carpet to secure the mats. Hope you're enjoying it, bit annoyed to discover you cannot turn off the stop / start function !

Yes, absolutely. It's a safety feature to stop the mat getting folded up under the brake pedal.

Oh well, back to the dealer…

Just hope the pegs can be easily fit in situ and don’t need the carpets to be taken out.
