GROM audioo MST4 - MOST Patch
 

I've purchased the GROM Audio MST4 unit (with Bluetooth and USB connectivity) to install in my 2008 V50. I did a trial install last weekend but it just disabled the audio so I believe I need to get the MOST security patch applied to unlock the audio system and allow the device to work.

GROM state that this is a normal process and should not be a problem.

I called up a local Volvo independent specialist and they said I had to go to a Volvo dealer.

Has anyone successfully had this patch applied?
Was it easy to get done?
Can you give me a rough idea of the cost?
Does anyone know if there is a specific part number I need for a 2008 V50 in the UK?

I'll pop along to a dealer in the next couple of days with the information that GROM supplied but any further details people have would be really useful.

How did you get on at the dealership?

That was ColinV50's only post and was five years ago so he is unlikely to answer, unfortunately. Perhaps someone else will pick up the thread.
