M90 gearstick boot frame
 

Finally ready to swap out my 2L+AW71 for a 2.3L+M90, spent most of the winter getting parts together BUT I'm missing one item!
The metal plate/frame that clamps the gearstick boot in place. Anyone know where I can get one OR has anyone made one?

No way! I literally chucked one in the scrap metal a couple of weeks ago.

I might have another, I'll have a look.

I can see one sat on an M46 gearbox, I'm not sure if it is the same as an M90 one? I can't get to it as I had a hernia operation last week so I can't move the stuff in front of it at the moment so I've just taken a photo.

That looks like it will fit. For now I'm going to try and fabricate one temporarily and if you get a chance to retrieve your's, I'd be more than happy to buy it off you. Here's to a speedy recovery, good luck.
