Dice cables

Hi everyone.
I am looking at purchasing a DICE unit.
However, in the listing photos, I can only see the ob2 cable.
My question is, what other cables does it need and how much do they cost?
Also, I should add, this is second hand, genuine dice and it is a good price

This is what you will need

1 x DICE device OBD-II cable

1 x USB A to MINI USB cable - (easily available)

Cheers

Dave

Hi Harley Dave.
The guy who has it says that he doesn't have any mini usb cables.
Is it possible to test if the dice works without a mini usb?

It's just a phone charger cable - if you haven't got any of those already, you can buy one pretty much anywhere.

It's what the PC uses to "talk" with the DICE so it won't work without it.

How does the guy who is selling it, know that it's working?

I'd be a bit wary if he doesn't have all the kit (or is prepared to get a cable to include - they're just a couple of quid)

Cheers

Hi Dave
It is being sold as untested, should I get it

Harley Dave May 12th, 2022 10:25

In my book, "untested" = not working.

If you really feel you would be able to make use of a Vida/DICE setup, you might be better off contacting one of the guys on this forum, who can provide you with everything you will need - including advice on using it.

Cheers

Dave
