C30 Bluetooth and satnav solution

Hi, I'm new to the forum. I've just purchased an immaculate 2011 c30 but it doesn't have Bluetooth hands free or a satnav. I would also ideally like to play my iPod too. I love the simplicity of the interior so am reluctant to fill it with retro-fit screens and wires. Does anyone have any suggestions please?

The Bluepower unit has seen some success however it is very expensive. See here

However I have also seen this which looks very similar to the factory nav I have in my car although I have no idea of the quality

Look what I found on AliExpress

Options are limited in these cars really and the stereo systems are notoriously hard to work with.

Sorry, had an extra brainwave! Alternatively the car should have an Aux port in the centre console? If it says Mode on the stereo next to the CD eject then look in the centre console for the Aux and if you have one you can look at this for BT and BT music

I have the previous MyJack which I use in the Mercedes and my wife's 206 and its great, this adds to that with better battery life so makes a quick fix for now, get a CD phone holder, use your phone for nav and it's all there ;) The factory nav isn't all that great and the cost would be under £20!!

Monty, I have a 2011 C30 which is incredibly well specced. It has SatNav. Tedious to use, no speed camera warnings, hard to read screen. I never use it. I I use either my Garmin or my Android phone. If you get the right Garmin you can buy an add-on that provides hands free phone functionality.

I'm lucky as I've also got the High Performance System, which has AUX, BT, USB, hands-free phone support, all built in.

There are numbers of threads by folk trying to upgrade or integrate these extra functions into their Volvo ICE and, as Sasha says, it is an absolute mission because it is so heavily integrated into the car.

That little Kit Sound jobby looks fantastic. But they are out of stock!! Want one for my R53 MINI which has AUX but not BT.

Try the older MyJack, the MyJack 2 has only just come out. They are a brilliant bit of kit but the phone function is only as good as where the unit is placed. The Volvo would be less than ideal as it's hidden in the centre console so if you are using the phone, be sure to leave the lid open otherwise nobody will hear you!
