All season tyres
Time is coming up to change my V90CC’s tyres. Currently the standard Pirelli zeros (horrible) 235/50/19, my last XC70 had Scorpion Verdi Allseasons (great tyre)
Anyone had experience of Pirelli Scorpion Verdi Allseason vs Michelin Cross Climate 2 on they’re car. |
Not a comparison. But I ran Michelin Cross Climate all year round for the last 3yrs on my previous V90 with no issues. As soon as current Michelin Primacy’s require changing I’ll not hesitate to change to cross climates again.

Thanks. On my xc70 I had scorpions on for 4 1/2 yrs and 50000 before need changing, that’s driving and towing around the uk, without an issue of any conditions on grip. I’m up decided which way to go next

See also Hankook Kinergy 4s 2s. I'm very impressed with them on our XC70, they are wearing very well and are usefully cheaper than the Pirellis and Michelins. Well-reviewed by tyretests, which is where I found them.

I have run both Nokian and Vredestein over the years, with both performing and wearing very well.
|
I replaced my Contisilent tyres with Pirelli Scorpion Verdi Allseason and they are far better, very happy with them and they are wearing well,

Ive run both Crossclimates and Nokian Weatherproof on my 90's over the years. Both were superb. The Nokians slightly better in bad conditions, the Crossclimates slightly longer lasting, both very good.
|
And this is why I want to change from 20 inch to 18 inch wheels. Also wanted all season tyres, but can't get them with 20.
|
I've been ok getting them on 19".
