Fully Synthetic Geartronic Fluid - JWS 3309, Aw-1, JWS 3324

I have a new, unopened 20l barrel of Duradrive MV, fully synthetic and compliant with the Aisin Warner JWS 3309, Aw-1 and JWS 3324 standards.

You can read all about it here.

http://lubricants.petro-canada.com/e...duradrive.aspx

I bought two drums prior to flushing the Geartronic box in my V70 D5 - 15l from the first drum and its running as good as new.

I'm near Warrington, and can arrange to meet close to the M6, M42, M40 or West London area by arrangement.

I am asking £95 for the 20l drum.

I was interested in buying this, and if I had a JWS3309 vehicle then I'd have no hesitation in doing so. However, it's important for people to note that this fluid is a standard viscosity fluid like JWS3309. The later P3 cars (MY11 onwards) moved to aisin AW-1 low viscosity fluid. If you read the datasheet it makes clear that this fluid is specified as "safe for use" meaning it won't kill the gearbox, but there is a footnote in the datasheet that says:

Quote:

* DuraDrive MV Synthetic ATF is a high viscosity formulation and does not meet the viscosity profiles of these low viscosity
specifications. Field testing results have demonstrated proof of no harm but product will not provide the potential fuel
economy benefits of the low viscosity genuine oils.
I do not think this is a bad product, I do not think the seller is trying anything on. I just think people need to be aware of what this fluid is (and is not). Again, I'd have no hesitation in buying or using this for a JWS3309 vehicle.

Did you ever sell this?

I've been working abroad since early 2017, now back in UK.

This is still for sale ...
