Hi All,

I've just been outbid (twice...not sure if it's the same bidder or not!) on the grille slash / badge which was on eBay. I didn't dream anyone else would want one! So....anyone got one? For an early car with the larger grille?

I'd also like a set of chrome headlight trims, and a pair of foglights. I realise the latter is not easy to find.

The slightly sad story here is that the previous owner removed a few items from the car prior to sale, and I didn't realise quite how valuable and tricky to find they are, or I might have protested slightly more!

I've never seen crome headlamp trims only ever the painted ones.

Chrome ones do exist - Steve Quinn had some for his green 164 and had at least another two sets pass through his hands when he was still trading.

Chromed headlight trims where an accessorie for the 164 series.. They come reproduced today:

Roughly GBP 34 a piece.

Reproduced ones are not quite the quality - they tend to rust very quickly - so paint and treatment before installing would be a good thing to do..
