S80 2.4petrol 140hp
 

Hello guys, i hope this thread is correctly posted.

I need some advice's from you.
I want to buy a volvo s80, 2.4 petrol, 140hp, automatic gearbox ( D 4 3 L ).

What to be checked on this model? The most important things to be checked?

After a short test drive:
- engine start and immediately stop, after third start was ok, after that engine run smoth ...;
- gearbox run ok;
- front and rear right electricat windows doesn't work, and glass can fall;
- central locking/unlocking doesn't open the left back door ...
- on the left display srs airbag wartung dringend appear;
- on the central display yellow triangle apear + red airbag icon ...

270.000 km on dash;
no service history;
there is no authorized volvo service in our contry.

the windows are a pretty easy fix. it is a little plastic clip in the window that wears a bit thus letting the window operate wrong. i got one on ebay for my s80 pretty cheap and replaced it. window is now working good again
