440 1.8s Auto running problem
 

I have just aquired a 440, it has stood for about 6 months without moving.

It runs ok untill it reaches about 60mph. Then it dosent want to go any quicker and just lumbers. When i hit a hill no matter how much accelarator you use it just slows down to a crawl.

It is also uses a lot of petrol.

Can you lot give me some ideas.

hello mate
is it using any water also check the plug leads and plugs and does it feel lumpy on tickover
