V40 T4 ( tuning options )
 

I’ve recently just brought a 2001 Volvo v40 T4 and am just looking to do the usual modifications; exhaust, intake, intercooler and eventually turbo + rebuild.

I’ve been trying to looking up tuning company’s that can map the car but haven’t had much luck. I’ve looked through this forum and seen people mention MTE ? Does anyone know if they still exist ?? I’ve searched for them but can’t find it.

I have gathered that if I were to rebuild the engine I would have to most likely go standalone. I could go stand-alone now but it’s expensive.

Can anyone help ??

You may be better off joining the S40/V40 classic owners group on facebook - there will be T4 gurus on there. This forum is pretty much dead.

Had a look on some Volvo fb forums and asked around. Got some great advice 👍

For custom tuning down around there, its worth getting in touch with PSL in portsmouth.

They are specialist in ECU on the bench work for more custom mapping if you need that done. They did a custom map on mine and S40 T5.
