Ten big ones for a 240GLE
Wow, well this is pushing the affordability envelope a bit:

Same colour and engine as my wagon, albeit mine is carb'd. Its nice, but its not 4 and a half times nicer than mine. Indeed, it's not 25% nicer...
Paint is a little better than mine, but not by much, and by the time I've worked on it theyll be comparable. Wheels are better than mine, but my interior is cleaner. Fair play if someone will give them the money, but it won't be me at that price! |
Gauge pack with the rare oil temperature gauge, though no oil pressure gauge, is a major plus for value, given what they go for.
On the down side, the metal around the rear screen is rusty so that needs to be dealt with quickly. But 10 large is somewhat (very?) optimistic for a 1983/84 carb-ed saloon with velour upholstery and wind-them-yourself rear windows. Like Familyman 90 I'd pass on it. |
