v40 - 2001 airbag light
 

Hi!

I have a problem with my v40 2001 2.0T manual european modell, the airbag light turned on. I used a SRS fault code reader and got the code SRS-017D.

As i figure the "speaker" for the seat belt reminder needs to be replaced (the sound is only "clicking, not dinging"). Turns out the "speaker" is built into the relay. The warning works (turns on when belt is not plugged in and turns on when belt is off, only with weight on chairs and so on).

Anyone know where the relay is in the car? I hear it from "everywhere" and the schematics from volvo just tells me its in the dash (somewhere).
