Very nice show with a variety of Volvos in every condition you could imagine! Baring in mind, I only take pictures of what 'I like', you get a pretty good idea of things. IPD have a discount on their parts and usually lots of other miscellaneous items for sale pretty cheap. Unfortunately a lot of the used parts private sellers have seem to be odds and ends they've collected over the last year(s) from local junkyards. Half of the stuff I saw this year, I'm pretty sure I saw back in 2010! None the less, a great show for the Volvo enthusiast, if you ask me!

thanks for that Darren, some great photos! I've watched some of the IPD yard sale videos on their site........get there one day:)

240 in movie

I have just brought the kids to see a movie called Hop which features a blue american 240 estate quite prominantely. It appears to either have blue leather or vinyl seats and looks to be in quite good nick.

It is a GL with B200e. Interior is beige/goldy velour. Trim is half black half dark brown not the usual 'brittle beige' more 'chocolate brown'. Not seen it before, should've photo'd it really - or is it common and just me who has not seen it before?
It belongs to a friend on the frenchy forum, should be able to request some interior pics if anyone wants?

Not an interior I have seen before either - would be interesting to see some pics.

Flat-fronted model

Spotted a '77 or thereabouts example in caramel/beige/cafe-au-lait, very tidy too, with the red rear side marker lamps, between J24 and J25 Northbound on the M6 at 17:40 today as I was heading south.
