1998 V70 AWD Towing

We've been towing a caravan behind my wife's V70, and the Nivomats can't handle it. They're still okay, but the caravan compresses the rear suspension enough that the Nivos can't "reset" themselves and we end up on the bump stops by the end of every trip. We just took a long holiday with the caravan and there's noticeable wear on the inside edges of the rear tyres now from driving with the suspension compressed. I've looked around and I don't see any replacement, or towing, springs to help take the weight of the caravan. My 740 has ipd performance springs and it tows the caravan beautifully, but I really need the 165 hp of the V70 for American Interstates, and, well, hills.

There's something wrong with the levelling system, or the weight of the trailer on the tow-bar, if the car doesn't keep itself levelled.
I've had a couple of Volvos with Nivomat levelling system, and they all compensate perfectly for the load, assuming the load doesn't heavily exceed the maximum allowed for the car.
