etm faults
 

can any one give me more informatition on this i am or was going to buy a 2001 or 2000 v70 (new shape) but am now extremely werey becuse of this problem. if i get a 2002 one what is the diffrence do they have the same problem. i want a car that will do 200,000 miles as i do 40-50 a year so reliability is a must so help help help

"Volvo scrapped the original design and switched suppliers early in the '02 model year, which is believed to have reduced the problem".

I assume the Bosch unit is the replacement for the Magnetti Marelli ETM from early 2002.
