HI all working my way through some faults with the 340 auto i have discovered that the throttle cable is broken.I have tried to find new or second hand but there is nothing available. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction where i can acquire one many thanks in advance.

Pm me with the exact problem, I have some old bits.

NO thats not the part.The part i need is similar but has a terminal on the end. i think that looks like a 240 throttle cable.

A 1.7 throttle cable will fit its about an inch longer, i cant remember if it has the kickdown switch on the end though . . you could get your original cable repaired...
