Vida/Dice diagnostic tool

I changed my 2008 V50 for a 2016 V70 D4 and am looking to get the Vida/ Dice diagnostic tool so looking for some advice on where to buy also on the computer what operating system is compatible.

Any pointers would be appreciated

The 2016 V70 may not work though so I offer no guarantees in that regard.

Hi guys. I want to buy VIDA for my V70 p3 D5.

So it's 2008 and I'm not sure which hardware from aliexpress should I order. There are few 2014d, 2015a etc

I have some older lap top with 2010 Windows. Will it work on 2010?

So I need that harrware VIDA DICE and software?

I'm thankful for any infos.

2014d is fine for your model year and you can run the software in a virtual machine very simply in Windows 10.
The most important thing is to by from a seller who can provide a guaranteed working Dice and has knowledge of setting up everything.

Am looking for VIDE software and DICE hardware that will work on Windows 7 or 10 to help diagnose an intermittent underboost on a 2008 Euro 4 2.4D ?

From studying the forum is seems that the EGR can stick open and cause boost issues without generating any codes other than low boost codes 1507 and 1540 (and P0299 through my Torq OBD2 reader)??

I think read in a post I can no longer find that someone (Simon?)had posted a thread, or maybe made a video, on how to use to VIDA logged data to see if the EGR is working as it should? Any pointers where I could find this?

On a Euro 3 D5 but Vida will have the relevant data for a Euro 4. Video here.
A more involved job to remove a Euro 4 EGR too so plan ahead.
