Red block 2.3 engine/ 5spd Manual box etc
 

Hi folks

Just to let you know I’m breaking a 1990 240 GLT which has the red block 2.3 engine/ 5 speed manual gearbox.

I was talking to another forum member today and he mentioned that the 2.3 engine and box might be of interest to folk on this thread looking to upgrade their 1800 / Amazon etc and apparently it’s a reasonably straightforward conversion.

I have a video of engine running/ diff/ gearbox etc all available

Engine is very low miles only 130,000 genuine miles on clock and timing belt replaced at 110,000 with new Volvo belt/ tensioners. Has new clutch too.
