340GL S/R

Could someone please tell if i can use unleaded in this model,engine number is B170 and year of registration was 1990.

The engine type should be B172K for a 1.7 340.

All 340 B172K cars can use unleaded without modification FROM and including 1987 model year. Depending when in 90 your motor was registered it may well have started life with a "cat" which would demand unleaded.
