I noticed that CVI are going to stock these too. I must admit I could fancy these for my Amazon.

Ooh Christ, I shouldn't have seen that...........

Jeez, thats very tempting alright. Christmas is over now lads....!

That is very tempting...probably cheaper than getting mine powder coated and painted.
Excuse my ignorance, what is the significance of wide?

Aye...compares well to searching for years for a set of og steel wides, driving half way across country to get them, then having them powder coated..A good deal indeed if less than £300. They look damn fine on the car too imho.

I think it just gives you a greater choice of tyre, and some folk feel happier with a wider footprint than the skinny 165s. The car possibly feels better 'planted' but may be harder to steer at parking speeds. "Chacun a son roue", as they say in south kensington.

Assuming this is now a stock item at Brookhouse..... It might be worth a few people getting together and asking for a bulk buy including postage ? Not sure I need to spend 250 on wheels right now, but I'll give it some thought.

My car has been running about on 5.5j rims for years now. It feels great. I didn’t really notice any difference in steering weight at low speeds either.

They also look great and finish the car off nicely.
