Steering Rack Hard line hoses 940

My 1993 940 lost power steering fluid due to one of the metel hoses under the steering rack corroding.
Is it possible to get a pair of new hoses?

I can get to them and remove/fit them without replacing the steering rack itself, which is good.

Brookhouse Volvo supplied me new ones with a new steering rack. I'd call them and ask if they can supply just the hard metal lines.

It is a common issue now. I stock new pipes, supplied as a pair https://www.classicswede.org/shop/po...hd-700-900-new

Thanks Mertz & Swede,
I'll know what I'm doing later today.

Really nice guy, got lots of info from him. He went out of his way to tell me everything he knows about steering racks and suppliers. If I need a full steering rack recon I'm good to go.
Luckily (so far) I don't. :)

but these arrived instead

and they even have the wrong ends.

I hope it's just a mixup and the right ones are in stock...

@ 'D.R.' (Post #6 above)

Might it not have been a little more courteous to contact 'C.S.' privately over what is almost certainly a genuine mistake, instead of publishing it in the public forum for all to see?

Regards, John.

Oh I did, naturally. Also phoned but didn't get through yesterday.

but the pics need laying out clearly (for my sake too) and the big forum thread area is easier to do this.
