Please help me locate this part!

Hey Y'all!

I picked up my first brick last October (a 1975 245) and all three back windows were leaking like crazy when I got it. Created some rust issues in the spare tire well, around the windows and bottom of the hatch which I repaired with OEM parts from VP. She's looking brand new now!

I was able to source new seals for the drivers side rear 3/4 window and the rear hatch which fixed those leaks, but the passengers side 3/4 seal is NLA and that old seal is still leaking like crazy. I have scoured car-part.com, ebay, FB Marketplace, IPD, etc and can't seem to find that pass side rear window seal. Does anyone have a line one one, or any suggestions of where I might look for one?

The only other place water is still penetrating is through the two license plate lights. I picked up two new OEM lights but should I apply some silicone around them before I install?

Many thanks!!

I can't help with the seal but don't put silicone on as your asking to leak that way. If the seals are new they will be fine, I would apply a smear of silicone grease but not silicone sealant.

Have you tried https://www.finn.no/ or https://www.tradera.com/?. The Swedes and Norwegians love their 240s/245s. I have had luck there recently finding an elusive dog/cargo guard.

I'm guessing that Zev's in Boston Massachusetts, rather than Boston Lincolnshire so he's lookng for what on this side of the pond is the driver's side seal.

Thanks friends! I am in Boston MA but I will definitely still try the two sites you suggested Phil!

Also thanks for the input about the silicone. I was going to give that a try but now I know it's not an option and I'll have to just work on sourcing a seal. Much appreciated!

Your best bet would be to get a set of seals from a mid 80's 240 estate as they improved the seal
