advice buying an 850 diesel
 
I am looing at a 96 850 auto diesel. the history is that the timing belt snapped. volvo made good by replacing half the engine bla bla. once thebelt snaps is this engine never the same again or if fixed right as good as new?

so long as water pump tensiners and idlers were done should be ok hope this helps
