Brakes - looking for cheap genuine parts

Hi, I need brakes all round so where is the cheapest place for genuine brakes (and parts generally)?

Thanks

I went to the Stealership. You should be able to get good discount if you ask. I paid a little over £300 for discs and pads all round, and parking brake shoes. Aftermarket stuff wasn't far off that price.

Just be sure to push for good discount.

I intend to change the discs, pads and rear shoes -will I need to source anything else as a precaution i.e. securing bolts, etc?

I'd rather have everything to hand than start the work and discover I need other bits the dealer doesn't stock!

Cheers

Rufe , on this forum, is a genuine volvo parts man. His prices are also extremely competitive.

I would also replace the springs on the park brake shoes. Other than that you shouldn't need anything else apart from some copper grease.
I would stick with original Volvo parts on the brakes. The weight of the car and the fact its bought for safety means the small saving of non OE parts wasn't worth it.

Couldn't agree more...
