2016 Twin Engine Electric Motor Clonk

Hi,

My 2016 twin engine has a new louder and worrying clonk noise when the electric motor engages and disengages.

Does anyone else's twin engine clonk as the electric motor is activated (to drive the car) and then deactivated (when it goes into charge mode)?

Is this a known issue or something that needs fixing?

Gary

I'm pretty sure it's coming from the differential. I've booked it into Volvo for diagnostic...

Can't imagine that it will be good news! The local garage won't look at it.

It certainly doesn’t sound cheap, I’d be interested to know what they find. These hybrids have been known for the odd nasty bill but hopefully nothing to serious in your case.
