No 5 speed listed for the 6 pot engines, but if this chap has one then it is what it is. It's certainly a smashing looking machine, a lot of car.

I did some googling as soon as I had posted! never knew they did a 4spd geartronic - pretty cool must be rare

I think its the gearbox developed with Porche
You can have full auro drive etc or you can move the gear lever left and manually go up and down the gears

we to have a geartronic in the 2.9 version of the same engine minus the twin turbo,s. Incidently it was the only mass produced transverse straight six engine in the world and is mated to the shortest gearbox in the world.

I had a 1999 S80 T6 that I used for a charity car rally round Europe, many years ago.

It was so comfy and a total euro cruiser.

It had the 4 speed GM geartronic box which I always felt didn't make the best use of the engines ability.

I don't think they came with a 5 speed for that age.... But I could be wrong. (Just looked at VIDA, 4 speed)

Hi, Derek. Did this sell? just wondering if it had any appeal.
I have a similar one, S-reg with a gearbox issue.

Hi Geoff still for sale now reduced to £1500 but open to offers fantastic car but the high petrol prices are not helping would even consider a swap for an old XC as my knees are not very good hope you get lucky as it would be a shame to see these great cars end up on the scrap heap not many left now cheers matey Derek
