Dash warning light query
 

Hi, my V40 has ‘engine system service required’ light come up on dash board. I have booked in a diagnostic check, but is it safe to drive in the meantime? The dealership diagnostic check is 3 weeks away and I have a trip coming up. Thanks in advance

You need to post in the correct forum for your car. This deals with the classic V40 upto 2004. These cars do not have engine service system lights.

had this message on a car last week diagnostic said oil quality below standard on checking i found oil level to high and was contaminated with diesel fuel.. oil change and filter and removal of diagnostic warning cured this message
