Jens Gustavsson, Umeå, Sweden, has an entirely homebuilt pushrod B20 turbo in his Volvo 140. It has produced 450 whp on pumpgas at 7500 rpm and 1,8 psi. 506 whp/567 Nm on racefuel at 6200 rpm and 2,2 psi. That's 595 crank hp/667 Nm, making it the worlds most powerful Volvo B20. On the strip, his best results so far are:
1/8 mile: 6,83 sec, 163 km/h.
1/4 mile: 10,61 sec, 205 km/h.
60 ft: 1,49 sec.

The cd player is non-period though!

The inlet pressures are quoted as 1,8 and 2,2 PSI - are you sure that the units are correct as I would expect to see that sort of performance if the UOM was BAR not PSI - Mike

The pedal rubbers are the incorrect ones for that period...

....but the door sill covers are the early alloy ones! Very rare!....
