http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...o/PICT0051.jpg Don't think it's going to work? Well the same guy built this 10 second car.... http://race.ulkhyvlers.net/dragrace/...6/DSC06697.JPG Jens Gustavsson, Umeå, Sweden, has an entirely homebuilt pushrod B20 turbo in his Volvo 140. It has produced 450 whp on pumpgas at 7500 rpm and 1,8 psi. 506 whp/567 Nm on racefuel at 6200 rpm and 2,2 psi. That's 595 crank hp/667 Nm, making it the worlds most powerful Volvo B20. On the strip, his best results so far are: 1/8 mile: 6,83 sec, 163 km/h. 1/4 mile: 10,61 sec, 205 km/h. 60 ft: 1,49 sec. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqzDCkZh7fM& http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...PICT0119-1.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...o/PICT0120.jpg Epic winnery! The distortion on the rear tyres says it all
The cd player is non-period though!
The inlet pressures are quoted as 1,8 and 2,2 PSI - are you sure that the units are correct as I would expect to see that sort of performance if the UOM was BAR not PSI - Mike
The pedal rubbers are the incorrect ones for that period...
....but the door sill covers are the early alloy ones! Very rare!....
