2008 1.8 S40 Flexfuel erratic idle
 

the idle speed is just over 100rpm on start up but takes so long to drop to 900.when I put the clutch in to change gear the the rpm increases before dropping off, very disconcerting.
i am running the car on petrol not ethanol E85 as it doesn't seem to be available in Ireland anywhere.
Any help gratefully accepted.
