1995 855 T5-r Olive Green

I am selling a T5-r I bought a few weeks back that I intended on keeping and getting back on the road. I have had some bad news which means my wife will not be going to work for the next few months so I am in a situation where the car needs to be sold.

The car is in a good general condition but will need reassembling as the previous owner removed the upper bearing cover and the exhaust system and turbo. The car has no dented panels and is in a good shape and it is worth restoring to its former glory as according to a thread on a forum recently there are only roughly 60 or so left registered in this country.

It has leather and alacantra seats (electric front), roof rails, according to the previous owner a modified ecu, K+N induction kit and the other features associated with a T5-r. It does not have the rear load cover, Titan alloys or the lower front r lip but it does have T5 Columba alloys with 6mm tread on the tyres and a T5 lower front bumper. The car has covered 140-150,000 miles IIRC and has service history partially in the form of a print out and some receipts including work such as the top end rebuild. The interior is in good condition with only minimal wear to the drivers bolster and some slight cracking of the leather. The badges on the rear tailgate are all present. It has had fitted a new electric part to the ignition barrel and I have unseized the rear wiper mechanism. I will post some pictures tomorrow when I take some so the general condition can be seen. The car is located in Birmingham and can be viewed by prior appointment with me. I am posting here on the forums before adding it on Ebay. I am after less tha what I paid as funds are tight and I really do need the cash in these hard times. The car is for sale for £500. I know that I could get this for parts if I broke it but I do not have the time. Please contact me via PM and we can take it from there.

Are you sure that's a T5R? Other than the seats and some badges it looks like a T5.

All your pictures seem to cut off at inconvenient points e.g. the full steering wheel isn't shown and none of them show the front bumper clearly. If you take some clearer shots I'm sure you'll get more interest as the parts alone would be worth a few quid.

This is a genuine R. The reg is plain to see if anybody feels like using a car checking system to check its authenticity.

Read the add. The bumper is a T5 item so are the wheels. Its only going cheap and peopele are more than welcome to come view it first.

whats the bearing cover

Take it easy, my point is if you take decent photos of what is left which does suggest the car is a kosher R you'll get more interest. Fake R's are very common which is why I asked if you were sure it was the real deal especially given it's missing the external R parts.
