Xc70 2008 Diesel.Misfire and stalling
 

Problem started around 6 weeks ago , after an extended quick run on motorway maybe an hour or so , then when I came off the motorway the engine misfires and sometimes stalls completely so we have to pull in. Or it will carry on but still misfiring. Finally broke down couple weeks ago and would not restart. As if it simply ran out of fuel
Main dealer found no codes, checked fuel pressure, injectors, cylinder compressions , fuel filters and all ok
Today it ran for 2 hours no problem. Now I don’t trust it for long journeys but has anyone got thoughts on what this could be? Thanks
