1999 C70 Coupe 2.4i - Complete car but seized engine :(
 

I am sadly putting up my C70 for sale as a non runner, my friends took it for a photo shoot yesterday and it came back with a seized engine..

If I can't get decent money for it I will break it for parts, however I'd like to offer it to enthusiasts complete first as it's had a lot of money spent on it and apart from the seized engine is in pretty good condition and potentially would make a good candidate for a new engine to be put in.

I'd like £400 for it, any less and I'm likely to just break it myself. The car is located in Knebworth, Hertfordshire.

Specs + good points:

• Manual 5 speed gearbox
• AC fitted (but not working)
• New headlights
• New front side lights
• Working headlight wipers
• GROM fitted (USB power, AUX and bluetooth inputs)
• Speakers all working with no crackling
• Black half suede interior, in good condition, rear seats in almost perfect condition
• Spare wheel present
• K&N air filter and cabin filter done less than 2000 miles since new
• Serpentine belt and genuine belt tensioner done less than 3000 miles since new
• Dual rear fog lights wired in
• Recently compounded, polished and waxed
• Strut brace (made by flaggy)
• Practically brand new Bosch battery

Bad points:

• Obviously the engine is caput!
• Offside front bumper scrape
• AC doesn't work

I have a lot of receipts and evidence of work done since my ownership (2 years).

Missed out on my second C70 in the space of a day in Glasgow area! That's four in total now!! Perhaps I'm not meant to own one :/

Good to see it saved, looked a nice one.

Sadly it wasn't saved ;( It has gone to a breakers, I got £330 for it which I don't think is bad but at least it will go on to help other Volvos live.
