Tail Light Needed 240/260
 

In need of a left hand rear tail light lens or assembly for a 1978 262c. I understand 240's and 260's of this era will fit.

It will need to come from a 260 sedan; the 240s of that vintage have a 4-panel tail lamp assembly as opposed to the 6-panel of your car. And there are precious few 260s around.

What's the problem with the one your car currently has?

Thank you. I appreciate that information. Mine has the amber turn signal lens broken. Half of it is missing.

I THINK that the individual lenses are the same on both styles so it might be possible to obtain the lens itself. If the lenses are screwed in place then you could pick up an early 240 sedan tail lamp assembly and remove the lens you need.

I have a set on ebay, the lights are rocking horse poo in unweathered condition. going to be selling a whole host of other 262c stuff. 07803 922945 if your interested. I broke up a 78 262c last year.
