Mob phone holder?

Sorry if been asked b/4.

Where do you guys put your mobile phone in the car?

I rather fancy a holder of sorts to go into the CD compartment. I noticed a post about this a while back somewhere, but can't find it.

cheers.:)

If you have bluetooth installed you can keep your phone in your pocket. If not, get an aftermarket bluetooth unit and you can still keep your phone in your pocket.

Morning Bob,

So as not to check emails whilst driving ;) I keep the phone resting on top of the cup holders and close the drawer as connected via Bluetooth. This way I'm not put off by the flashing red light of the Blackberry advising "you've got mail". I keep the charger lead plugged in to the phone and the door still slids shut making it look quite tidy. You can also use the USB socket to power your phone so no wires on show as in the compartment under the arm rest but the downside is that you cant play your tunes from Ipod/USB stick as the port is being used to charge the phone. Actually, does a USB hub (multiple USB port) work? This could be a way round it??

I bought this for iPod, needs some mods to take iPhone or similar but isn't a lot of money.

Hi Kev,

The cup compartment has already been assigned to my Glasses case :)

I like the idea of a usb hub tho.

Yeah hat is a handy spot, but assigned afraid.
Amazing isn't it, no matter how many places are available for ancillaries, it's never enough.:D

As an aside. Whats the door handle/armrest hole all about? Pretty stupid idea to go right through IMO

Having the bluetooth system I keep it in my pocket less chance of leaving it in the 2011 XC60 D3 fwd terra Bronze beauty.
