Breaking 2003 1.9D V40 Sport Lux & a 1998 T4 S40

Hello people. Here I have a 2003 1.9D V40 Sport Lux & a 1998 T4 S40 for breaking. Most parts are available with the exception of a couple of things I've taken for my own cars. Let me know what you are after and I will upload photos and prices. I will use Royal Mail for small items and Collect+ for items of up to 10 kilos as it is only £3.49.

The V40 is a sport lux with all the goodies. Self levelling Nivomat rear shocks, original Volvo, reversing parking sensors, motorised driver's seat, etc.

Hi,

All this relates to the silver v40.

How much for the drivers side window/ mirror controller thingy? The one on my mums is broke. Also, how much for the cup holders in the front and the roof cross bars? Also, does the v40 have a boot liner?

Just my luck...you break cars with bits I'd buy after I sell mine to my mother! Oh well, she would appreciate these bits :)

Thanks mate,

Kev

Hi Kev
Let me know if these prices are reasonable.

Drivers side window/ mirror controller thingy
£5

Cup holders
£25. Only thing to mention is that the spring on the coin holder is missing and a tiny plastic clip securing it is broken. It still opens and closes properly. I can take a photo of it if you want

Roof cross bars
£25

Boot liner:
£10 It is the one with the low wall, not the high one.

Hello mate, is the maf and coil packs any good on the s40?

dcw Oct 3rd, 2012 20:12

Hi Gatos

I see the silver V40 has the electric drivers seat....do you know if the cars are pre-wired for that (more to the point, would my 2003 "52" T4 Sport Lux have the wiring: I guess I am looking for an unused plug under the seat)?

Also, does it by any chance have a height adjustable passenger seat?

Depending on the answers I might be interested in the seats assuming they are in good condition -from the bits I can see they look to be....

Thanks

David

MAF sold already to TommyT4. I am pretty cerain the coil packs have been changed a few months ago, so they should be like new. Will get them out when it stops raining and post a couple of photos

You will need to check the wiring on your car to be honest. My 1.9D which comes up as a 2003 does not have the wiring. If these don't sell, I was thinking of retrofitting them on mine. Passengers is manual, so no height adjustment.

Thanks - a long shot re the passnger seat, but worth a try!

I'll check for wiring under driver's seat and get back to you, assuming soneone else doesn't take it in the meantime.
