May I check which model this is for?

I've a good used one from a 2005 XC90. Fits most of the diesel engines. Free if you want to collect.

I believe it will fit V70s up to around 2006, plus XC90, S80 etc. Mine was slightly different as my V70 has the D5244 T5. EBay seems to suggest it’ll fit the T2 and T6 variants but I’m not 100% sure.

Thank you for the very kind offer - it's for a 2008 S80. 3.2 petrol - probably worth comparing the parts if you think there is a chance they might be compatible?

Moderator hat on. Can I make two suggestions:

1) That the OP posts the part number for the part for sale, so prospective buyers can do their own research? After a bit of zooming-in, I got "31029 01", which the Lemforder catalogue says is for a diesel P2 (mk1 S60, mk2 V70, mk1 S80 and mk1 XC90).

2) That other members don't jump in on someone else's for sale thread with a competing offer? Seems like bad form. If you guys know each other, a PM would be a bit more discreet!

Neither will fit a P3 S80 with an SI6, according to the Lemforder catalogue. There isn't a direct equivalent on a P3 - it's a much bigger dog-bone type on the driver's side.
