V50 eDrive - EL Current High Warning

Hi all
My partner has had this warning come up on her dash - EL Current High. See attached. Any clues? |
worth reading this thread? - might be a similar type of problem?

It'll be the alternator regulator thats died.
I'd avoid using it, as you'll kill the battery from overcharging it. |
