C30 1.6d battery - 096 or 110?
 

Looks like I need a new battery for my '09 C30 1.6d

According to a few web sites, it needs a type '096' battery, but the battery that's in at the moment is a '110' , which I've also seen as being correct on some sites.
There is a gap between the top clamp on the battery box & the battery so it looks like the 096 which is a bit higher will also fit.

Any thoughts welcome.

Buy the largest capacity battery that fits.

CCA and amp hours are the two things to note, I prefer to spend a bit more for a battery with a five year warranty as in my experience they are significantly better.

Yep, that makes sense. The 110 size has a bigger max capacity than the 096 so will go for that.

A quick update.

I had a look on Vida and amongst several options the largest is OEM part number 30659799 which is a '115' battery. Bought & fitted yesterday, hopefully end of problem.
