940 Dog guard
 

Hi folks,
just wondering if anyone has an original dog guard with fittings if poss' as l'm getting an addition to the family in a few weeks and need to start off with my four legged friend in the right place.
Annoyingly l had one last year and sold it on a 940 no longer required.

My Wentworth is tan but l'm not expecting that much luck, a rattle can will do the transformation if needed.

Foggy thankyou for your kind reply, please don't put yourself to any trouble as l've just spoken to Mike who has also got one complete with fittings and he's contacting me when he's located the stored parts.

Hi all,
a few months ago l asked if there was anyone with a Volvo dog guard that they were willing to sell and at the time l was offered 2 one from Mike and another from Foggy940.
I've recently got round to fitting the one Mike sent me only to find it's for an early 940, embarrassing to say the least l'm now after the correct one for the later model with the higher seats so if anyone has one then please let me know.

Tom I've PM'd you to ask if you could help with my problem relating to the 940 dog guard request, at the time of my accepting the initial offer of the one from Mike A l was unaware that it was the one that fitted the earlier 940.
So l'm still in need of the correct one and l was hoping you still had the one you mentioned in your reply in October.
Could you respond please otherwise l will have to put up another "wanted" request.................there will be money involved......!!

I have a 940 dog guard, for sale. No idea if its early or later one though. How can you tell? If anyones interested ill post an add on gumtree.

Thankyou, yes l would be interested if the guard is for a later 940, they are usually grey and the fitting is usually one centre clip in the middle of the rear seat.
The earlier type is nomally black (l've discovered) with two fixing clips one on each back seat...................but l may be wrong and someone may educate me.

Ive tried to attach a photo but it won't allow it. Not suprised really this site is so antiquated. I'll post an add on gumtree. So much easier. Still not sure if I have the one your after. Actually have 2 x 850 dog guards and 1 x 940 dog guard.
