Currently covering 500 to 1000mls a week.
Spare 230E engine at Al's Autos, Sturminster Marshall. My Mechanic for 15 years. Its in bits ready for refurb. Also rear insert plastic mud guards in store there.
Rear suspension supports and floor rebuilt, for £6000, and sealed.

1989 bill of sale from Volvo, many repair bills files.
Many boxes of spares collected over 31 years of ownership. Club membership from 1992. Many club technical report books for the older cars by, the Technical Director Mr. Cluer. (ret). Many Volvo official Green Books. LPG instruction/repair manual.
MOT to November 2022. Road tax paid monthly. Insured with IAM Cornmarket. £265pa.

Must be an a 240 lover to carry on the good work on the best car ever built!

Just looking to recover the welding costs. Bring it up to concourse and it will be a good investment. At 78 I have run out of steam!

Anyway the answers you were looking for:
Yes the 245 GL has a B230E engine. The B200E was replaced at 496,000 miles.
It currently has 812,000 miles on the clock.
The MPG on LPG is 22. On petrol 27.
It is at my independent Volvo specialist at the moment to fit a new liquid/vapour converter, and check the petrol system through.

There are loads of other spares in boxes too. Volvo green books. 31 years of bills and MOT's

Alex Smith of Al's Auto's is a Volvo specialist, has been repairing my 245 for 15 years. He is currently overhauling the petrol and LPG systems. Just done the steering to.

Alex is on 01258 857713. Give him a ring, he knows its on the market.
