Just in time for staycations and similar, we are also looking to sell, at a great deal cheaper than list price, an Ex Display, 320 Litre, Silver Space Design Roof Box, designed by Volvo.

This does have some very minor scratches around it, due to it being used on some showroom vehicles, and as a demo model, but is offered at a great price of £450 (or very near offer, list price is £582)

Hmm.... Halfords 320ltr is £159.00.

While I do agreee with you, and have a much cheaper one myself, you can't deny that design on these Volvo boxes (they're made by Thule but VOlvo did the designing) is outstanding. They're beautiful to look at, and made by Thule, so the price must be high.

I know that you pay extra for name & looks - but just look at that beauty!

Funnily enough, I was just thinking the same...

Their bigger one (420L) retails at £985.00

Almost a thousand pounds for a moulded plastic roof box plus a few nuts, bolts and a lock set... these must represent one of the biggest mark ups ever!

Then again if you're dropping £60k+ on a new XC90 to impress the Karens, what's another grand... probably worth a grand simply to have the local Mums think you're off to your holiday home in France this summer.

The mind boggles.
