Definitive T5R numbers from factory archives
 

Having recently acquired a showroom condition Gul Yellow 850 T5R estate I've been digging around to obtain the actual numbers of T5R's produced.
By the way, the T5R was not a homologation special. Volvo were racing their estates well before a single T5R was built. Total global numbers including UK are as follows (UK market in brackets).
Saloon Manual
Yellow 383 (28)
Black 194 (9)
Green 134 (35)
Saloon Auto
Yellow 734 (11)
Black 760 (11)
Green 195 (24)
Estate Manual
Yellow 526 (38)
Black 735 (29)
Green 775 (73)
Estate Auto
Yellow 894 (41)
Black 827 (28)
Green 807 (113)

Total T5R Estates 4564 Saloons 2400

In addition, there were reported to be 3 factory specials, 1 white, 2 grey.

Hi Danny,
Bought it from a Volvo dealer who bought it for himself over 3 years ago and then dry stored it. He decided not to keep it so did a load of prep work on it and sold it to me. I've been completing the renovation - bodily & mechanically perfect.

Click the paper clip at the top of the edit features, (opens a new drop down menu) choose the appropriate file and click upload. You may have to re-size the image if the file is too large (upload failed message). Once the image has uploaded close the upload window and return to your post. Click the paper clip once again and your image file should be there, click and it will be placed in your post.

Have to take your word for it that its in Showroom condition as those images don't really do it any justice.

Trust me it is - pics taken on a very very dull day so there's no reflections or glints off the paintwork. I plan to take more piccys when there is a decent enough day to show it to best advantage
