New to Volvo
Hi all
I have taken the plunge and bought an XC60. But don't have much experience of Volvo's so wondered if I should be looking out for certain issues? I don't have the car yet as I am importing the car from Japan and this brings me onto my first question the sat Nov is set up for that country so could I update it for the UK or am I wasting my time and just use my phone? Second question I have went for a petrol the T6 Polestar model so how good is the straight 6? Look forward to getting to know some of you |
The engines are decent enough. Not fault free, but not riddled with them either, and not short of power. You'll likely enjoy the motor.
One asks with great trepidation which transmission it has...? The i6 had the 4 speed Geartronic is a GM unit which has an horrendous reputation for reliability, but being Japanese market I don't know if a manual may have been available. |

Are you importing new or used? |

Out of interest I have been looking at importing from Japan also, does anyone know if it's difficult to change over the language of the infotainment system? I assume it will be in Japanese leaving, is it simply a matter of going through the settings to find the language setting and changing that?

So picked car up and love it. 20” alloys not a problem with ride. I am sure it’s going to be better with more side wall but happy with it.
It seems to have come with kit not listed like the active Cruze control and apply car play plus hands free boot opening. Is there any way to check if polestar upgrade has been done ? lol |
