V40 Knocking sound above rear wheel arch driver side
 

Hi All,

Proud owner of a V40 T2 Momentum.

I’ve noticed this clicking/knocking/tapping coming from near the fuel flap or above rear driver side wheel arch. It only happens when I am driving around 50mph + and at lower speeds it doesn’t happen at all even on rough terrain which makes me think it’s not something that’s loose but something to do with wind perhaps? Has anyone had a problem like this and found the cause? I’ve attached a video of the sound (filmed by a friend).

The sound happens constantly above 45mph and it gets really irritating on long journeys unless I’m pumping the tunes. Here is a link to a video of the sound.
