Strut Brace ??
Hi, Has anyone fitted a strut brace to their C70 T5 / other T5's.
Any benefit? just wondering if its worth spending £85 on one ?….. look forward to your replies |
In short, yes. It does stiffen the car up considerably at the front and helps improve traction. Are you planning on getting the Volvo OEM one?

Thanks for the prompt responce !.. interesting didn't know there was an OME one, I take it Volvo dealers supply them ?. Would be OME if the £££ wasn't the normal volvo price !, any idea's on where to buy one ?

I'm not sure to be honest:embaressed_smile: I think mine is a Volvo one.....I had the work on the car done at a garage so I'm not sure - sorry!

i got mine from the main stealer (only £80ish i believe) & they even had it in stock :)
defo worth getting |
Ive got a volvo one aswell.
very good mod, tightens the front up. with the strut brace and new springs\shocks i get no torque steer from my chipped 850r. the volvo one is built very well and has to be one of the best on the market and cheapest to. i think i got mine for £75 from a volvo dealer, with it taking a day or 2 to get. and as its a volvo one you wont have any fitment issues. |
Hi,
got mine for my 850 T5 from Don at Kalmar Union, super light easy to fit and looks good also think it was around the £80-£90 mark Regards Eddie 850 T5 |
