Turbo Refurb Service?
 

Just wondering and trying to gauge interest if there would be any use in a turbo refurb service? Refurbed turbo's would come with the following new parts fitted and actuator / re-circ valve tested and setup

Turbine Shaft Nut
Both O-rings
Circlips
Heart Plate (Heart Shield)
Turbo oil return pipe gasket
Oil Deflector
Thrust Bearing
Journal Bearing
Nut (For C-Clamp bolt)
Ring (For Journal Bearing)
O-Ring (CHRA to Cover)
Piston Ring (Compressor Side)
Piston Ring (Turbine Side)
Thrust Ring
Thrust Sheeves
Insert (Super Back)

Price for the forums would come in at about £100 plus P&P which isnt too bad considering used turbo's are going for about £120 on ebay.

Would you provide balancing?

No, they would be balanced the same as when i recieve them so i couldn't do a turbo that was already stripped

99% would be posted back the day after receipt.

Well keep us posted, i would be intersted in acouple of months time once the Cambelt has been done

i'd certainly be interested, ive got a turbo sitting in my spare room, eyeing me up, but im to chicken to try a refurb. would rather pay someone else too :D

Would this apply to a D5252 engine's turbo too?

Think mines not too good.
