V40 CC D4 Tyre Choices
 

Good Morning,

I own a 2016 V40 CC D4, the current tyres on the car are 225 50 R17s, would there be any major issues going to a 225 55 R17 tyre? Clearances should be ok being a cross country?

Living in east ayrshire, the roads are very bad with potholes. having forked out alot of money on tyres over the years, I have found that the bigger the sidewall the better. Also you do get better deals on 55 tyres.

Any thoughts?

Get some 16" wheels... then got maybe 60 ?
