Locking wheel Nut Tool
 

Please can anyone help.I have recently purchased a Volvo S40 2010 model and have managed to misplace the locking wheel nut tool, can anyone tell me we’re I can buy another one of these.:angry::angry::liebe028::angry::angry::angry :

Tyre dealers often have the kit to remove them. I would then replace the locking nuts with standard ones.

I have found volvo locking nuts keys to not be the best of quality and need to be 180 degrees to the nut/bolt or will be damaged, often to the point of uselessness. Easy if you carry a rattle gun to remove the wheels, different matter if using a wheel brace or breaker bar as is often needed to get the nuts off.

In 50 years of motoring I have never had a wheel stolen. Volvo wheels the age of mine degraded to the point of scabbyness within 2 years of new anyway so no self respecting theaf would want them

Have you seen Goltho's recent post in the S40 section link here

your volvo dealer can obtain the master set from their Headquarters
( at no extra cost to them if they decide to charge you ! )
That will enable them to determine the key and order one for you .
Generally they will not use the master key to undo the nut to prevent wear to the kit .
