The removal of Park Assist seems to be due to some piece of EU regulations. Merc are removing it to,although in their case its being disabled so might come back in the future.
In all honesty though, unless you are terrible driver, it's a pointless gimmick. |

It does leave the question as to whether or not it will be a simply software update to enable this feature when our regulations on this matter change with those in the EU. If all the sensors and radars are in place to support it, then an update to the software should be all it takes to enable the feature in the future. Fingers crossed, as I like that feature, even though I am more than capable of doing it manually. |

Seems like volvo have handled it better, Merc seem to be delaying deliveries to remove it. Volvo at least communicated that it wouldn't be present in MY22 cars. |

My friend from Manchester keeps telling me to take my flashlight with me and go over the entire car, both in and out when I sign for it. He works delivering new and used cars and says there's always a good chance of bodywork issues, especially if you opt for any ceramic coatings or internal protections as these things are done in house following them taking delivery. |

I keep looking on Youtube for 2022 reviews but there's absolutely nothing yet. |

I will definitely go over mine with a fine tooth comb. I will lower the seats and everything after hearing your experience. I probably wouldn't have gone to that extent. Thanks for sharing that! |

One small snag: they fit the wrong number plate on the car! Going back to get the correct one fitted. The one on all the paperwork is correct but the actual one on the car is one letter out. “We don’t usually check that the workshop has fitted the correct plate”. Hopefully I don’t get stopped by police wondering why my car is not a silver Mini Cooper... |
